Young Iranian actor Amir-Hossein Fathi joins 'Les Misérables' musical play.
Portraying "Enjolras" character, Fathi will appear on the stage in Hossein Parsaei's latest directing experience.
The musical play directed by Parsaei and led by Bardiya Kiaras, will be staged on November 11, 2018 in Tehran.
‘Les Miserables’ depicts the story of Jean Valjean who is imprisoned for 19 years.
After his release by Jean Javert , the officer in charge of the prison workforce, Valjean promptly breaks parole but later uses money from stolen silver to reinvent himself as a mayor and factory owner.
Javert vows to arrest Valjean and send him to prison again. Eight years later, Valjean becomes the guardian of a child named Cosette after her mother’s death but Javert pursues him firmly.
Other outstanding names among the cast of the play are Parinaz Izadyar, Sahar Dolatshahi, Ashkan Khatibi, Bahram Radan, Houtan Shakiba, Parsa Pirouzfar and Navid Mohammadzadeh.
